Simon – Fractional IT Director

Fractional C-suite executive Simon Hudson MBCS brings over twenty-five years of leadership experience across financial services, private equity and start-ups, specialising in aligning technology strategy with business objectives to drive growth, innovation and operational excellence. Simon has held senior technology roles spanning CTO, CIO, COO, IT Director and Head of Software Engineering on a full-time, interim and fractional basis.

Simon was recognised by Gartner and Microsoft as a promising innovator in 2016 for his work with Provulo, an early signal of his ability to spot and ship genuinely differentiated technology. Across multiple fractional engagements, he has built a reputation as a strategic “fixer” for high-growth firms — serving in fractional C-suite capacities to rescue failed projects, restructure engineering teams, or prepare companies for acquisition.

Today, Simon is Head of Technology at Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group PLC, overseeing technology for a portfolio of sports, AI and marketing companies and aligning development processes with founders’ acquisition goals. He also serves as Fractional CTO at Certifii (private capital data signals) and Fractional CIO at River Valley Technologies (publishing) — specialising in digital transformation, software development, DevOps, IT infrastructure, agile delivery and vendor negotiations across financial services, private equity, publishing, energy and beyond.
