Technology executive and business transformation leader Jason Sahota brings over twenty-five years of experience driving global digital transformations and scaling high-growth ventures. Jason rose to prominence as CEO of Charles Taylor InsureTech, which he founded and scaled from inception to a global provider with operations in over ten countries, securing major deals with global insurance giants including Lloyds of London.

After Charles Taylor, Jason served as CEO of Proteus from 2021 to 2022, leading the professional services and data product company through a period of strategic growth and digital transformation. His career is uniquely distinguished by his dual experience as a Group CIO for a major organisation and a founding CEO of a high-growth technology subsidiary — few leaders can speak credibly to both the corporate IT mandate and the entrepreneurial pressure of scaling an insurtech.

Today, Jason chairs TechWM, leading the board and strategic direction of the West Midlands tech ecosystem, while continuing to serve as Senior Advisor and Non-Executive Director to several private equity-backed and high-growth technology businesses. He specialises in leveraging SaaS, Data and AI to solve complex business problems within financial services and professional services, making him a natural fit for ambitious businesses pursuing digital transformation or PE-backed growth.
