People and Change Specialist Steve Corkerton is a CIPD Chartered Fellow with an unusually broad portfolio of board-level experience across public, private and voluntary sectors. Steve’s standout achievement is co-founding the Bohunt Education Trust, where he served as Founding Director from 2011 to 2019 — helping grow a multi-academy trust to nine schools, over 10,000 learners and an £80m budget.

Since 2020, Steve has served as an Employment Tribunal Panel Member at the Ministry of Justice UK, sitting alongside judges to resolve complex employment disputes and provide expert workplace perspectives — a unique combination of judicial experience and operational HR insight that very few HR leaders bring to client engagements.

Today, Steve is also Governor at South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring the Trust prioritises patients and the community while maintaining board-level oversight.
