IT technical leader Barry German brings nearly four decades of systems experience to Leadership Services, with a deep specialism in ERP — particularly IFS Applications, where he holds multiple consultant certifications. His career began as Technical Director at Diskus Group, where he led technical operations and enterprise systems management for over thirteen years, building the foundations of a hands-on, methodical approach to complex IT challenges.

Barry then spent more than twenty years as Technical Director at Frontline Consultancy & Business Services in Manchester, overseeing technical strategy and service delivery for clients across financial services, software development and IT consulting. He followed this with a senior role as IFS Technical Development Manager at Cooper Software, managing technical development projects and delivering specialist IFS ERP solutions for clients undertaking implementations and upgrades.

Today, Barry is System Analyst at Appreciate Group (Love2Shop), providing systems analysis and technical support for the UK’s leading gift card and voucher platform. He combines high-level strategic technical leadership with hands-on expertise in ERP implementation, system integration and technical support — making him a natural fit for businesses planning, executing or recovering from major ERP programmes.
